The following outlines the services provided so your business meets the Regional District of Nanaimo's organics waste bylaw.
A low cost and easily managed solution.
EnviroCore is recognized by the Regional District of Nanaimo as an option for organic waste removal.
- EnviroCore, in consultation with staff and management will provide an agreed upon number of 240L wheeled totes for the collection of organic waste.
- EnviroCore will collect the used totes at a scheduled time and ensure that the empty totes are sufficiently clean of contaminants and residue.
- Signage will be provided by EnviroCore to aid in the training of staff to use the program correctly. Awareness results in efficiency and cost savings.
Cost for Service
EnviroCore will transport the organic material to a licensed processing facility. Tipping rates will directly influence service costs.
The following example outlines the cost structure (per pick-up) based on the number of totes present at the facility with an average weight of 80 kg's each:
